Bill Blue Band - Streetpreacher (1975 US Blues Rock)

ALTÍSSIMA RARIDADE!!
HIGH RARITY!!

BILL BLUE ERA O NOME REAL DO CARA CUJA CARREIRA, APESAR DE SER POUCO CONHECIDO, DURA MAIS DE 30 ANOS!! HOJE O CARA AINDA CONTINUA FAZENDO SHOWS EM KEY WEST, NA FLORIDA, LOCAL PRA ONDE SE MUDOU NOS ANOS 80!! O SOM DO CARA ERA UM BLUES ROCK DE QUALIDADE!! RARIDADE PURA E UM BOM E RECOMENDADO VENENO BLUES!!
When Bill Blue(Yup,that's his real name) went to Virginia to meet blues great Arthur(Big Boy) Crudup, writer of Elvis's first record "That's Alright Mama'', little did he know that he would go from a struggling out of work musician to being on the road with Big Boy on Bonnie Raitt first US tour. That started a career that has lasted over 30 years and taken Bill Blue to stages all over the world playing shows with the likes of ZZ Top, BB King, Bonnie Raitt, Allman Bros. ,Albert King, Albert Collins, Johnny Winter, Hank Williams Jr., Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, John Prine just to name a few.

After releasing two albums "Indian Summer Blues" and "Street Preacher" on the Richmond, Va. based Feather Records, Bill signed with the prestigious Adelphi Records, one of the best blues labels in the US with worldwide distribution releasing "Sing Like Thunder" and "Giving Good Boy's A Bad Name". This gave him the exposure to play venues all over Europe and the US. After years of touring Bill moved to Key West, Fl in the 80's while still keeping an active touring schedule he became a mainstay playing all the Key West joints, Sloppy Joe's, Hogs Breath Saloon, The Green Parrot Bar and the Full Moon Saloon where he recorded the very popular live CD "Live On The Moon".

These days Bill has gone back to his roots playing acoustic get down blues on his collection of vintage acoustic and resonator guitars solo and with a trio at festivals in the US and Europe. As a New York Times reviewer said about one of Bill's shows in New York City "One moment you are laughing your butt off, and a few songs later you're crying in your beer; from a songwriter, you can't ask for anything more." A simply great idea to recycle other blogs links without giving credits...shame on you dude!!
This came originaly from Zosopat so all the praises should go to him and not to this place.

And of course will this comment never get published.

thanks. wasn't aware of this earlier Bill Blue. I'd heard his "Sing Like Thunder" and even had the vinyl once. It was great. Thanks again for the chance to hear some earlier Bill Blue.

Obrigado.

Why do you think the link is to another blog? Do you think there is only one Lp in the world? I got this LP and if you want to go into my house to hear the original you will be welcome. The only credit I can give is for the cover of the LP cover that I searched on the internet and found the blog Zosopata. I can not scan the cover of the LP on my scanner because my scanner does not support the large size of the covers of LPs. Do not worry my friend, I'll write a credit for the cover of the origin of the cover. I guess that really was my fault. This is a lesson for the next posts. When you can not scan it goes without cover.I care much about these recycling. My blog is also a victim of this. But I think the most important is the dissemination of unknown bands and not personal promoting. I do not receive any money from my blog. My blog is just a personal satisfaction and the goal is only the dissemination of good music. This is most important to me. It gratifies me very much. I did not steal the link from any blog. Be sure. But thanks for your attention and your good policing by the relationship between bloggers. Thank you.
