ÓTIMA BANDA AUSTRALIANA DE BLUESROCK!! A BANDA TINHA BOA FAMA NO CENÁRIO BLUESROCK AUSTRALIANO ONDE ERA MUITO RESPEITADA PRINCIPALMENTE PELAS SUAS PERFORMANCES AO VIVO!! A MUSICA "BLACK AND BLUE" POR MUITOS ANOS FOI A MAIS PEDIDA NAS RÁDIOS AUSTRALIANAS!! BANDA DE TIRO CURTO, POIS ACABOU EM 1974!! PRA QUEM GOSTA DE UM BOM BLUESROCK É UM VENENO RECOMENDADO!!

One of the greatest acts to come out of the Australian live scene in the late sixties/early seventies and yet they're virtually unknown to today's generation. The 'classic' Chain lineup only released one album, 'Toward The Blues' in 1971, an absolute classic in anyone's language. Featuring their hit single 'Black and Blue', which for many years was one of the most requested songs on Australian radio, 'Toward The Blues' was recorded virtually live (with precious few overdubs) in a Melbourne studio, and over the years quietly notched up Gold status in record sales. Rereleased in 2001 as a 30th Anniverary Edition, 'Toward The Blues' is today the only Chain album widely available on CD. If you're lucky enough to find some of the other albums on vinyl (such as Chain LIVE or History of Chain) hold on to 'em.
