Woops is the only album by Andrew, the Icecross related band from Iceland. This is heavy psych rock from 1973 with wild acid guitar runs and English lyrics. The album ranges from weird heavy funk guitar psych to outer space jams. It`s ripped from the recent reissue, or maybe it was a bootleg reissue, I`m not sure. I haven’t seen it for sale anywhere recently, so I`m guessing the re-release is out of print now. The original LP sells for up to 600 $, which is a tad bit pricey for any album imho. In this case, the liner notes hint at a casual get-together of various friends, with the cast of characters extending well beyond the confines of the four names listed under the album title. The music these individuals come up with is more like the type of song material rock artists put on a formal album. Their recordings are rather hit and miss affairs. All nine cuts on the Rockadelic album are originals. The finer moments include the driving guitar on opener Why Don't You Love Me?, the fine jamming guitar work on Time And Again and, by contrast, the mellow slow-paced Something To Look At with its dominant percussion work.
