The Missing Links - Driving You Insane (1965-66 Australian Garage Rock)

FAZIA TEMPO QUE NÃO POSTAVA UM VENENO GARAGEIRO!!
PORTANTO, AQUI ESTÁ UMA BOA E OBSCURA BANDA AUSTRALIANA, CUJO LP ORIGINAL É RARÍSSIMO E TOTALMENTE FORA DE CATÁLOGO ATÉ ESTE RELANÇAMENTO!! NESTA EDIÇÃO DE ANIVERSÁRIO CONSTA TUDO O QUE ELES GRAVARAM ENTRE 1965 E 1966 EM TODAS AS SUAS FORMAÇÕES, INCLUINDO O CLÁSSICO LP, EP E ALGUNS MATERIAIS INÉDITOS!! SÃO 28 CANÇÕES NO TOTAL!! MISSING LINK ERA CONSIDERADO O MAIS SELVAGEM GRUPO DA AUSTRALIA, INFLUENCIADOS PELO RYTHM BLUES CRU ELES FORAM OS PRIMEIROS EM SEU PAÍS A USAREM CABELOS COMPRIDOS E DESTRUIREM EQUIPAMENTOS NO PALCO!! TIVERAM UMA GRANDE REPUTAÇÃO EM APRESENTAÇÕES AO VIVO!! O GUITARRISTA "DOUG FORD", FIGURA CHAVE DA SEGUNDA FORMAÇÃO DA BANDA, DEPOIS FOI MEMBRO DA "MASTER APPRENTICES"!! ESTA É DE LONGE A MAIS COMPLETA REEDIÇÃO DE UMA BANDA AUSTRALIANA!! UM BOM E RECOMENDADO VENENO GARAGEIRO!!

The most sought-after and anticipated Australian re-release from the '60s - first time on cd! Featuring everything they recorded, including their classic LP, EP and previously unreleased material - 28 songs in all. This is perhaps the best 60's reissue Ive ever purchased. The links were Australia's feedback and crazy guitar kings of the mid 60's. This cd compiles the complete recordings of both lineups, including unreleased cuts, and some recordings by the Showmen, whom the links stole the rhythm sectino from for the 2nd lineup. Generally considered to be Australia's wildest group, The Missing Links played a raw R'n'B sound influenced by The Pretty Things. The second line-up was even more raucous than the first. They were one of the first Australian groups to grow long hair and destroy equipment on stage. They had a great reputation as a live band. Guitarist Doug Ford, a key figure in their second line-up, was later in The Master's Apprentices, whilst Peter Anson went on to Jeff St. John and The Id.
