In the late 60s, a hidden gem of rock was born in Blackpool: Heavy Rain. This group, steeped in the depths of "heavy progressive blues," quickly made a name for themselves, sharing stages with giants of the era like Hawkwind, Pink Fairies, and Caravan. By 1973, the band had morphed into a powerful trio: Geoff Carter, wielding his emotionally charged voice and guitar, Oggy Hargreaves on the pulsating bass, and Bernie Worsley, whose drums formed the backbone of the group. They moved to London with a dream and recorded an album that, despite never being officially released, would become one of the most coveted rarities in rock.
