Embora, de acordo com o livro "The Tapestry Of Delights", os LPs da gravadora Saga supostamente tenham sido gravados em uma escola em vez de em um estúdio adequado, este álbum se tornou um clássico do gênero por si só, contendo alguns sons psicodélicos matadores transmitidos principalmente pela guitarra do líder Jim Thomas e seus companheiros de banda, Stan Curtis com seus 'riffs de órgan. A formação foi concluída com Jack Collins na bateria e Melvyn Hacker no baixo.
As músicas são todas composições originais do Magic Mixture e são excelentes amostras do que estava acontecendo no Reino Unido quando os gêneros que estavam em voga durante os anos 60 eram todos colocados no mesmo caldeirão em busca de uma mistura especial, eventualmente obtendo ótimas músicas pop tocadas com um toque de freakbeat e alguns sons psicodélicos iniciais, todos muito simples e sem muitos truques ou truques de estúdio, mas incrivelmente adorável e muito legal.

Quickly recorded and released briefly by the Saga label in September 1968, the single album by this mysterious London quartet has become one of the most beloved artifacts of British psychedelia. In 2018, the label Sunbeam released a double LP reissue produced with the band's total involvement, presenting better sound quality than ever and telling their story for the first time. It also features four new bonus tracks dating from the same time as the LP, as well as numerous rare photographs, making this the definitive edition of the album and an essential purchase for all fans of psychedelia. A reissue on Lp of the Wah Wah's label has also recently been released, which is actually the first legitimate reissue, with the best sound quality and the best cover quality ever. Although, according to the book "The Tapestry Of Delights", the LPs of the record label Saga were supposedly recorded at a school instead of at a suitable studio, this album has become a classic of its kind by itself, containing some psychedelic sounds killers transmitted mainly by the guitar of leader Jim Thomas and his bandmates, Stan Curtis with his' organ riffs. The training was completed with Jack Collins on drums and Melvyn Hacker on bass.
The songs are all original compositions from Magic Mixture and are excellent samples of what was happening in the UK when the genres that were in vogue during the 60's were all put in the same cauldron in search of a special mix, eventually getting great pop songs played. with a touch of freakbeat and some initial psychedelic sounds, all very simple and without many tricks or studio tricks, but incredibly adorable and very cool.
