REPOST: Pentagon - Die Vertreibung der Bosen Geister (1970 German Bluesy Prog Rock)

EXCELENTE VENENO ALEMÃO!!
ALTAMENTE RARO!!
UM POWER TRIO QUE NÃO TINHA PRATICAMENTE NADA A VER COM KRAUTROCK!! TINHAM UMA VEIA NO BLUES E NITIDAMENTE ERAM INSPIRADOS PELO BLUES AMERICANO!! SUAS RAÍZES SÃO DE MUNICH LÁ PELO FINAL DOS ANOS 60 SOB O NOME DE "WILD CITY BROTHERS", DEPOIS "CARNABIES" E POR ULTIMO "PENTAGON"!! BANDA DE UM ALBUM SÓ, CUJO DISCO NASCEU DE UMA PRENSAGEM-TESTE E NUNCA DIVULGADO! UMA BANDA COM INSTRUMENTAL COMPETENTE E EXPLORANDO MELODIAS NO BLUES, FOLK E PROGRESSIVO!! VENENO RARÍSSIMO, BOM E COM EFEITOS VARIADOS, MAS SEMPRE EFICIENTE!! VENENASSO!!

Scarcely anything to do with Krautrock per-se, Pentagon were in fact a "not bad" blues-rock band, most obviously inspired by American blues, and such people as John Mayall or Steamhammer. Their roots were in Munich, in the late-1960's, under the guise of Wild City Brothers, changing name to Carnabies and then Pentagon (an odd choice for a trio). Pentagon's sole LP only existed as a test-pressing (only two tracks appeared as a single), and was never properly released until the recent CD issue. This presents a competent, largely instrumental band, exploring much more than blues, drawing in folk and progressive elements. A track from the Pentagon LP was also featured on the various artists RELEASE album. After their demise, Hans-Peter Krohn went on to record an LP with the then unknown Stephan Micus (who had joined in on some Pentagon sessions), and then formed the band Delano (apparently featuring ex-Siloah and Subject Esq. members), and played in other bands: Rigan Clan and Hurricane.
