THE ROOM OF LOUD SOUND - Heavy Psych From The USA 68-72

ENTER THIS ROOM OF LOUD SOUND AND GET FREAKY WITH THIS COMPILATION WITH 20 BANDS SELECTED BY THE LEGENDARY MUSICIAN AND CHIEF OF RECORDER "PSYCH CIRCLE", NICK SALOMAN !!! HERE WE HAVE THE BAND THAT WOULD GENERATE THE "CHEAP TRICK", THE DRUMMER OF "THE KNICKERBOCKERS" PLAYING UNDER A PSEUDONYMOUS, THE YOUNG "LESLIE WEST" NEWLY STARTING ... AT LAST ... HEAVY PSYCH ROCK RARITIES !!!

Credit to Nick Saloman, who did an excellent job compiling these lost jewels !! Saloman clearly understands that rarity is not enough to make a good track, and that the musical quality does not necessarily translate into a good album !! In the end, it all comes down to selection and order, that is, selecting the pending tracks (and keeping the padding out) and sorting them into a list of tracks that will create your own sense and purpose !! He managed to do that here in this collection which is an exciting journey through some of America's most overlooked heavy psychedelic numbers from 1968 to 1972 !! Guitar Fuzz and Organ Sleazy are the main features of all the music heard here !! In fact, there are many variations between the Hendrix style of Hot Soup (You Took Me by Surprise), and Hammer's fast-paced blues rock (Something Easy), and Carlo's funky version for "Fever" !! Other highlights include "Dark Hair" by Morning Sun and "Beautician Blues" by Mystic Number National Bank, but the crown jewel here is "Understand" by the band Fantasy, with the phenomenal singer Lydia Janene Miller, who was the closest to someone came to imitate Janis Joplin !!

Rock 'n' roll made a transition in the late 1960s to heavier rock in the early 1970s !! The Blues influence of 60's music disappeared in the background and became much less prominent !! Chord progressions have changed !! Guitar riffs mixed with bass riffs, the psychedelic influence progressed and the sound got heavier !! This collection gives poisoned people a great taste of rock from that period !!
